How to Take the Perfect Smile Photo
For the best assessment results, Dr. Bain needs a clear view of your teeth. Follow these tips:
Big, wide smile with teeth together
Bite your teeth together naturally and pull your lips back to show as many teeth as possible - upper and lower
Multiple angles for the best assessment
Take a front-on photo, then one from each side. This gives Dr. Bain a complete picture of your teeth alignment. You can upload up to 5 photos.
Good, natural lighting
Face a window or light source - avoid harsh shadows on your face
Close-up of your teeth
Get close enough that your teeth fill most of the frame - selfie distance is perfect
