If you want to improve your smile but are not sure whether to choose Invisalign or composite bonding, you are not alone. Both are popular cosmetic treatments at our Kingston practice, but they solve different problems. Here is how to decide.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually move your teeth into a straighter position. It is ideal if your main concern is crooked, crowded, gapped or misaligned teeth, because it changes the actual position of your teeth. Read our full guide to Invisalign in Kingston.
What is composite bonding?
Composite bonding uses tooth coloured resin, shaped and polished by hand, to repair chips, close small gaps and reshape teeth. It is quick, often completed in a single visit, and does not move your teeth. Learn more about composite bonding.
Which should you choose?
- Choose Invisalign if your teeth are crooked, crowded or gapped and you want them genuinely straighter
- Choose composite bonding if your teeth are reasonably straight but chipped, worn or slightly uneven
- In some cases we combine both, straightening first with Invisalign and then refining with bonding
